Wire Sawing Services — Concrete, Metal, and Underwater Cutting

Diamond wire sawing for thick reinforced structures, mixed materials, and hydro/marine scopes. Planned cuts, controlled segmentation, predictable removal.

Wire Sawing Technology:

Wire sawing (diamond wire sawing) is the method we use when structures are too thick, too reinforced, or too constrained for conventional saws. The wire is looped around the element and pulled continuously to create clean, controlled separation through reinforced concrete, steel, or mixed assemblies. On live and sensitive sites, wire sawing is often chosen because it is non-percussive and supports predictable segmentation.

Concrete Wire Sawing

For thick foundations, beams, bridge elements, large walls, and mass concrete where conventional blades can’t reach. Designed for low-impact, controlled segmentation and lift-ready blocks.

Large walls, columns

Metal Wire Sawing

For metal assemblies and mixed material scopes (concrete + steel) where access and geometry limit other cutting methods. Suitable for complex nodes with heavy embedded steel and legacy embedded items.

Steel, Cast Iron

Aluminum, Copper

Zinc, Other Alloys

Underwater Wire Sawing

For hydrotechnical and marine scopes such as dams, hydro plants, piers, and waterfront structures. Wire sawing supports controlled separation where underwater access, containment, and sequencing drive the plan.

Detailed Information

We provide wire sawing for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure scopes where controlled cutting and segmentation matter. Our team plans cut paths around access and handling limits, segments elements into manageable blocks, and supports controlled removal when impact methods are not acceptable.

GTA / Ontario daily. Across Canada for wire sawing projects.

- Wire sawing for thick reinforced concrete and mass concrete elements - Metal wire sawing for steel and mixed assemblies (concrete + steel) - Underwater wire sawing support for hydro/marine structures (scope depends on access and site controls) - Segmentation planning for rigging, lifting, and haul-out - Live-site ready execution when vibration/impact must be minimized

Wire Sawing FAQs

Key answers for planning wire sawing scopes.

Wire sawing uses a diamond wire to cut thick reinforced concrete, steel, or mixed materials with controlled separation and clean geometry.

When the element is very thick, heavily reinforced, oversized, or has geometry/access limitations where disc saws can’t complete the cut.

Yes. Wire sawing is commonly used on reinforced concrete with heavy embedded steel and can be applied to metal assemblies depending on access, geometry, and the specific alloy.

We support underwater wire sawing scopes for hydro/marine structures when site conditions allow. The plan is driven by access, containment/environmental controls, and sequencing.

Practical limits are driven by access, the available cut path, setup/anchoring points, and handling/rigging constraints more than “blade diameter.”

Location, dimensions/thickness, photos or drawings, access notes, what’s around/below the cut zone, and any site restrictions (windows, noise, containment, water management). For underwater scopes: water depth/visibility, access method, and any environmental requirements.

Yes. It’s often selected when percussive demolition is unacceptable and controlled, non-percussive cutting is required.
