Overview
Diamond Rope Machines Inc. was brought in during a custom home reconstruction to perform wall sawing and controlled removal of a large reinforced foundation wall section. The scope required precise sequencing to remove a major portion of the wall while maintaining structural stability.

Key Constraints
- Heavy reinforcement: High rebar density increased cutting complexity and time per segment.
- Shoring in place: Temporary shoring posts supported the structure during removal, creating tight clearances and strict sequencing requirements.
- Structural elements: In addition to the wall, we also cut structural components (including a beam / rigel) as required by the reconstruction plan.

Our Work
- Mobilized a 4-person crew and executed a controlled cut-and-remove workflow.
- Performed wall sawing with an electric wall saw, maintaining clean, repeatable cuts through reinforced concrete.
- Segmented the wall into 3’×2’ pieces for safe handling, controlled removal, and predictable logistics.
- Coordinated cutting and removal around shoring to keep the structure stable throughout the process.
- Completed haul-out and sent all concrete for recycling / disposal per requirements.

Result

Within one week, Diamond Rope Machines Inc. completed the wall sawing, segmented removal, and full haul-out of the 45’×12’×12” reinforced foundation wall—delivering the scope on schedule, despite heavy reinforcement and shoring restrictions.
